Youth Group-SPYs

SPY Group (St. Paul’s Youth Group, 9th through 12th grade)
This group ministry is for our 9th-12th grade youth.

An example of SPY activities is the Hunger Games outreach, where the SPYs engaged in a Bible and book study on Suzanne Collin’s The Hunger Games. As a part of this activity, the group served at a Philadelphia non-profit group, Feast of Justice. In 2015, 8 youth attended the National ELCA Lutheran Youth Gathering in Detroit, MI. Plans and fundraising are in the works to participate in the 2018 Youth Gathering in Texas.

Presently the group is led by Ken & Diana Brown, supported by parents of the group. When there are no High School age-specific classes offered on Sunday mornings, they are welcome to join in adult education opportunities.
